Overview
The Sabkha Palace is the grand hotel version of Dubai: marble, height, an atrium you could fly a kite in, and service that anticipates rather than responds. The five hundred metre beach faces west toward the skyline and the sunset, the pool complex has a lazy river for children and a silent pool for adults, and the ten restaurants cover Levantine, Japanese, Italian and a steakhouse with its own dry ageing room. Rooms start at fifty five square metres and every one has a balcony. The spa, hammam and gym occupy the whole second floor. It is thirty minutes from the airport and ten from the Marina and JBR.
