Overview
The camp sits inside the two hundred and twenty five square kilometre Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve, where oryx and gazelle wander through at dusk and the nearest light pollution is a faint glow on the horizon. Twelve suites are built as canvas roofed pavilions with stone walls, each with a private temperature controlled pool, a rooftop for stargazing and a butler who brings coffee before the dawn falconry display. Activities are included: dune drives, camel treks, archery and a guided walk with the reserve's conservation team. Dinner is served under the stars. One or two nights is right; most guests combine it with a beach stay in the city.
