Overview
Koh Yao Noi is the island in the middle of Phang Nga Bay that the day trip boats pass on their way somewhere else. The retreat covers the whole of its northern headland with fifty six villas, each with a private pool and a view of the karsts rising out of the water. There is a beach, a spa in the forest, three restaurants and a fleet of long tail boats that will drop you on an empty island for lunch and come back for you at four. The transfer is thirty minutes by speedboat from Phuket or from Ao Nang on the Krabi side. It suits couples and families equally and the rate, for what it is, remains one of the best values in Southeast Asia.
